Barrio Gótico and Las Ramblas

Discover Barrio Gótico, the historic and oldest neighborhood of Barcelona. It is the site of the original Roman settlement of Barcino from which Barcelona was born.
It is home to medieval architectural marvels like the gothic Cathedral of the Holy Cross and the old Jewish Quarter.
Wandering through the labyrinth of narrow, cobbled streets can lead you to charming squares or plazas. You will see remnants of the ancient Roman gate, walls, and aqueduct. You might even stumble onto the remains of a Roman temple that’s hiding behind the cathedral!
We’ll cap off our tour with a stroll through Las Ramblas, one of the world’s most bustling avenues. Take photos with human statues. Try out a local dish at Mercat de la Boqueria. Shop at El Corte Inglés, Spain’s largest department store.
